Some say yes, while others say no, but how can one truly tell whether or not this is the case?

Practically everyone on the net today uses an AI tool of some sort.

But the remaining question is how often do we indulge ourselves within the practice?

Has it gotten to a point where people are becoming too neutral with everyday life, and what's left in place just seems so soulless?

Like the human part of the equation (called us), we are left to wonder what will be said next, which is...

"Are we living as people within a nation, or are we shutting off our minds to make room for the next best thing since digitally sliced robotic bread?"

Ok, ok! That was a bit over the top; I get it!

"Sheesh... Talk about a tough crowd!"

LOL.

"I'm joking of course."

But seriously, folks, it's a true fact we find ourselves continuously grappling with the uncertainty of our future.

I'd say maybe so, but that's my lonely opinion...

Nevertheless, I'm only one out of many more who would love to weigh in on that $64,000 question.

"Will humanity fade away, and will this futuristic AI-Autonomous Era govern the soul of mankind as we know it?"

Well, that's what's on the menu today folks, and this is a savory topic matter that needs to be explored whenever possible.

So, without further ado, let's sink our teeth deep into this controversial subject matter!

AI's Continual Rise is Parallel With the Elevating Levels of AI-Human Indulgence

Artificial intelligence has progressed far beyond its early stages and is now deeply integrated into our daily lives, influencing how we work, live, and even connect.

This is made possible through predictive algorithms that allow AI systems to act autonomously[2].

The ultimate goal of this technology is to have AI take decisive action to accomplish tasks, from analyzing vast data sets to performing physically grueling, back-breaking labor.

By taking on these tedious and difficult roles, AI's strategy is to serve as a powerful counterpart to its human creator(s); freeing them up to focus on more creative and strategic endeavors.

Further steps led to the combining efforts of both AIserving as the brain; and autonomous bot technologyserving as the body!

A Forbes post pointed out how fast AI is advancing, which is taking place at a neck-breaking pace[1].

People were flabbergasted when hearing about the accomplishments AI models were making.

And it wasn't just the usual individuals typing up questions for the models to answer; this is about artificial intelligence crossing a major threshold.

This technology is making real-world decisions and changing entire industries.

That's not to account for the rise of human reliance on AI tools.

The primary areas where AI has consistently been utilized include writing, planning, and, quite notably, creative expressions that mimic human-like qualities.

Stanford EDU's 2024 AI Index confirms that AI now either matches or exceeds human performance in basic tasks like reading comprehension and image classification[1].

This shift raises questions about our role in the creative and cognitive process.

"Are we enhancing our capabilities, or simply outsourcing them through AI?"

Experts at Wharton suggest AI isn’t meant to replace humans but instead to help make them better at the things they do[1].

Still, the balance between innovation and responsible usage of artificial intelligence remains at the forefront.

As AI becomes increasingly advanced, we must approach its use with careful consideration.

The future of AI is unfolding rapidly, and as you'll see me type up the common phrase just ahead—the 2030s are just around the corner once 2026 arrives!

So, while some people are arguing against it, others are looking forward to it; AI and automation are going to impact all of society at the turn of this decade.

And the way I see it, people need to prepare for the incoming phenomenon, as AI is shifting the gears of technology faster than anyone can say a three-letter phrase ten times really fast in a row...

"Jumpin" Jack Flash!"

Well, maybe Mick Jagger could say it with ease; after all, it's one of his top hit rock songs.[Jumpin' Jack Flash!]

LOL.

The Human Soul of Creativity Is Being Overwritten by the Presence of AI

In a remarkably short time, AI has reshaped the creative ecosystem of the internet.

Smart devices can now produce music, write stories, and generate visual art out of thin air with incredible speed and accuracy.

These developments align with reports like the Stanford AI Index, which highlights the dramatic advancements in creative AI systems and the exceeding capabilities of artificial intelligence.

Now, I wanted to find some bar graph stats to toss in this article.

So, I asked Gemini if it could whip one up for me to display the percentile ratings between AI and human speed and efficiency.

Oddly, it told me the following...

I was initially thrown off when I learned that a bar graph of AI versus human performance was not easy trying to find statistics for.

Gemini's Ai-model told me that generalized data on such a complex topic is often misleading and exaggerated.

I didn't buy that, because of what I discovered when I got further entrenched after performing a basic DuckDuckGo browser search.

Ultimately, this understanding led us to a more meaningful conversation about the precise benchmarks used to truly measure the capabilities of artificial intelligence.

Check out the 2025 Stanford University details in the list below:
  • Now, I know a great deal of you know what the benchmark rating system is about; however, for those who don't, then basically, they are a variety of stat measurements particularly for speed and efficiency for testing the limits of artificial intelligence systems.
  • A Stanford 2023 report stated the new benchmarks researchers introduced  following AI performance benchmarks (MMMU, GPQA, and SWE).
  • MMMU (Massive Multi-discipline Multimodal Understanding): This benchmark is arranged and set rate an AI model's on their ability to understand information (of various types), that includes being able to identify both text and images at the college-level. There's also a massive dataset base that harbors over 11,500 questions sourced from college exams and textbooks. This carries a span of over 30 subjects including medicine, art, and science. The MMMU also tests the model's ability to recognize a barrage of maps, differing images, medical images, diagrams, charts, and that's not to mention the combination with text[1].
  • GPQA (Graduate-Level Google-Proof Question Answering): This is another  benchmark that is tasked at testing the model's ability to interact in the area of advanced logic reasoning. Ideally, the AI model consists of 448 tough multiple-choice questions in areas of biology, physics, and chemistry. The expert contributors provide written documentation for the AI to digest and use at its discretion. Steps have been taken to reinforce questions (they are said to be "Google-Proof") this is in regard to challenge the user's base of knowledge (that includes intentional questions that can't be easily answered; not even from a simple SERPs). The GPQA benchmark seeks to rate whether the AI system can deliver truthful information for rigorous questions that are tough for non-experts to answer[1].
  • SWE (Software Engineering): For this particular benchmark is set to evaluate an AI model's ability to carry out real-world software engineering tasks. And it's composed of more than 2,200 real GitHub problematic and its similar fixes from popular open-source repositories. However, in order for the AI model to pass the benchmark, it will need to generate a code patch which must be able to fix a described problem and passes the relevant test suite for that repository[1].
  • In 2024, AI increased drastically impressing online users (especially big businesses) are it produced score ratings that jumped from 18.8% to 67.3%  -WHICH IS AN INSANE PERFORMANCE JUMP![1].
  • The obvious thing everyone knows is how rapid AI-systems can generate high-quality videos; other format elements can also be replicated effortlesslywhich is basically what led us to ethical issues with things like "Deepfake Technology" —[2]
  • Even within the language genre, AI excels beyond unimaginable proportions; and now everything is approaching a climatic point no one would have imagined five-years ago.

"So, now you're wondering what climatic height has AI reached at a level leaving even the most popular content creators
IN A COLD SWEAT!

And it's here where online users who are thinking about jumping into the realm of content creation will immediately come to a stark realization.

They will be tempted to use AI resources, and the reason why is due to the time they can save producing their work thanks to elevated technology.

Before AI, creating a video took time and deep effort, this is what creators did this early on during their YouTube channel campaign run.

Well, that's until now where AI does most of the heavy lifting.

And even though it makes things conveniently easier; there's a distinct trade off many will fail to recognize...

In fact, it can be phrased in a very familiar saying that goes something to the effect of...

"I poured my heart and soul into my work!"

And the reason for it, is the lack of empathy AI-systems cannot replicate on an authentic level of humanity.

Yeah, these sophisticated systems can regurgitate mannerisms and create whatever piece of content needed at the drop of a hat.

But they have a hard time trying to mimic something very complex like empathic feelings and very astute individuals will be able to sense that it feels more AI than human.

So, in retrospect, AI-models can only mimic patterns of human emotions with soulless effort.

Will There Be Any Deeper Level of Regulated AI Content? |

There’s a key aspect pointed out by Anthro Magazine that stated how AI works to orchestrate creativity on a humanistic level[Anthro Magazine].

However, while attempting this, it inadvertently strips away the “errors” that serve as a flicker of evidence a human made when demonstrating their craft.

Again, this is the depletion of the soul, and efforts put toward the work (if exposed) suggest it was done by the pure creative juices of artificial intelligence!

Human creativity is rooted in our lived experiences.

It comes from personal struggles, cultural backgrounds, and emotional depth, which are things AI can't replicate.

Even online sites like Science News Today stated that artificial intelligence lacks a core foundation.

The time has come for a serious discussion in Congress about regulating AI-generated content.

AI can generate content, but it lacks true understanding. This difference emphasizes the necessity for a national discussion regarding potential regulations.

The rise of generative AI also raises ethical questions; as analyst Andrew Gibson explained, many are trained on uncredited human work[1].

If creators lose their ability to produce creative content, the "Well of Inspiration" will eventually run dry!

So, in short, AI is a powerful tool.

But it's not a replacement for raw human creative talent.

In fact, creativity at its core remains a distinctly human endeavor.

And there's no enhanced invention of any sort that can substitute for that type of originality!

What Place Will Be Left for Humanity Within a Dominated AI Society?

Well now, isn't that just the darndest question to ask?

AI is profoundly reshaping our future, and many people are concerned about their place within an AI society [Smithsonian Mag].

Instead of being replaced, what if humans used AI to evolve and discover an unexpected new path? While this may sound like a far-fetched idea, it's a very real possibility that many are overlooking.

A powerful alternative to fearing obsolescence is to use AI as a tool for human evolution, charting a new and unexpected path forward.

This idea may seem unconventional, but it's a very real possibility.

And the thing I have in mind might come off corny, but at the same time, the angle I'm about to take is just to help stimulate your mind with an idea or two.

To work this idea, I decided to use the movies "Tron" and "Tron: Legacy," as an ideal viewpoint to hash out some brief details...

Suspended Power and Tunnel Path

Image: Kevin Flynn (left) | Sam Flynn (right) | Both Faced an AI-Tron Dilemma! | Source: ChatGPT

So, the majority of you saw what happened to Kevin Flynn and, later, his son Sam Flynn in those Tron movies...

Both challenged a sophisticated protocol system that uses Data Scanner Laser Technology as a weapon to zap intruders, thus sending them into a digitized, computer-like world.

And once in, both had to learn a sacred set of DO's & DON'Ts to survive the digital realm they now dwell within.

Both were faced with the realization of "self-preservation," which became the key focal point within both films.

Another aspect was how Kevin and Sam were unexpectedly forced into dangerous predicaments.

But they found unique ways to defy the AI-governing laws, allowing them to free the digitally oppressed population that inhabited the digital realm they resided in.

In the end, both characters came out on top as survivors within a hostile, heavily regulated world composed of artificial intelligence.

Ironically, it's sort of the same thing in the world today, where people are searching for ways to avoid irrelevancy due to AI's robust progression.

Nevertheless, AI systems are already outperforming humans in various areas at unimaginable levels.

This is within areas of specialized tasks, from diagnosing diseases to interpreting complex online data.

But, just because AI is cleaning house in certain areas of expertise doesn't suggest you should just haul yourself over into a corner and die.

Angry Cuss Face Emoji
No! Dammit!

You can begin by building a brand name for yourself or your business.

Another area to consider is investing, but don't just go running to invest in AI companies like it's going out of style!

You MUST conduct laser-like "due diligence," which will help steer you away from would-be scammers who are just looking to take your money and run!

With that said, there are prominent investors such as Cathie Wood (which many of you know about), and of course, there's Warren Buffett, who's also looking into profitable AI stocks.

That's a great place to start when conducting a Google SERP, simply by typing in their names to discover more there!

Will People Be Able to Embrace Their Humanity Within An AI Utopia?

Well, that's always the key question that remains at the end of the day.

And surely 99.999% of citizens are thinking about their place in a futuristic AI-society.

This isn't a recent question asked just by anyone; no, there are experts and critical thinkers wondering of ways to preserve both their livelihood and social relevance.

So, it's apparent that artificial intelligence will not stop in its expansion!

Which is comparable to that of a genie being freed from its bottle, and it can't get back in once it's out and about[The Age of AI and Our Human Future].

This is why people are constantly on the edge thinking about the possible repercussions that eventually follow from AI's advancements.

Now, for some, they're looking forward to a utopian society where AI winds up managing every human's complexities within their daily life.

This doesn't even account for any other livelihood(s) and resources that may also be affected as an end result.

One area many people will benefit from is the AI logistics surrounding hospice care.

This is where healthcare groups show interest in using AI and machine learning (ML) to help fill product demands and store medical record data more efficiently.[1].

The overall aim will be the management of human affairs "via" AI.

We have no idea what other personal information these AI systems will claim to protect.

And the greater concern will be governing entities that will be using such online systems to keep tabs on people and their resources on a day-to-day basis.

So, that brings up the next obvious question...

"Are people being simply reduced to an assigned number?"

But wait! Here's another one...

"Will this be the so-called Utopia citizens will be subjected to in the future?"

"If so... then how can anyone say they're treated as an actual human being anymore?"

This is why many people feel like they're losing their human identity; they feel like a robot, like they don't matter—or are treated as if they have no soul.

This reminds me of the character Raziel, in my favorite old school game "Soul Reaver," said it best to the malevolent Elder God who pretends to help him along his cryptic journey.

"I have been reduced to this, a ghoul, a creature, a fratricide![Raziel after defeating Melchiah]

                                                                                                                     - Raziel

You can skip to the end of the fight to hear that iconic phrase. LOL.

But it's what Raziel said that resonates with how someone sees themselves when they feel their self-worth means absolutely nothing.

This is why people are standing against artificial intelligence, for that exact reason; they don't want to be labeled as irrelevant!

It's bad enough seeing how people are assigned to a trackable SS Card# in society—and now it's going to be strange to include AI!

And while we're at it, check out the interesting Brookings Edu Bulletin Stats List below in regard to AI's expanded presence and growth.

However, people are more worried about the broader impact on employment than on their own jobs.

The pursuit of a perfect, AI-managed world risks stripping away the very things that define us.

Our struggles, our art, and our flaws should not be viewed as inefficiencies to be regulated; rather, they represent the essence of our humanity.

Many believe that the challenges we face and the emotions we feel are not bugs to be fixed but the very essence of the human condition!
