You see Lucy had some tripped out "psi-powers" far beyond logic and reason.

The Lucy Drug: CPH4 Enabled Semi AI Capabilities
The drug's actual name was "CPH4," and at the request of a murderous Korean Drug Lord named Jang, uses Lucy as a human stork. - [YouTube].
Now, for those who might follow the term stork, it's a flying bird that was used in various old school cartoons where they flew delivered babies to their parents - [YouTube].
After her unexpectedly rushed surgical procedure, Lucy is transported to one of Jang's holding facilities in Taipei.
So far, there were two things that took place with her knowing about it (well eventually she does as the movie progresses forward).
The first, she quickly discovers she's being used only as an internal physical transporter of the drug CPH4.
Then second, one of Jang's idiot henchmen felt the need to try and sexually assault Lucy doing an intense shuffle scene.
That's where it all happens, after she angers Jang's henchman by fighting back, and she then receives a couple of kicks to her abdomen region.

The CPH4 bag bursts wide open inside of her!
This quickly triggered a sudden transformation (not like your typical 70s Incredible Hulk transformations).

And a minute later, he just terrorizes all of Times Square!

Lucy's transformation was definitely iconic, from there her mental and physical restraints were fully loosened permanently!
Afterwards, she easily dismantles her captors without breaking a sweat prompting for her escape!
Her brain's capacity levels steadily increases at a profound rate!
The best example comparison of her mind compared to that of an AI's brain (or "hard drive storage" if preferred by others; was her increase of on-hand info.
So, her friend she went to see, after being hugged and properly greeted by her once they met; she then knew the following details about her health.
Her friend Caroline, had a list of concerning issues that still triggered Lucy's emotional side (this happens after reading her friend's ailments and symptoms).

So, if someone had her powers, they would definitely experience the world in a completely different way—being able to process information faster than any human, possibly predicting events before they happen would be beyond insanity!

So, think about the expansion of Lucy's capabilities in a world where others like her, were able to gain access to limitless cognitive abilities.
They would have raw abilities, very similar to that of AI-like applications that effortlessly utilizes intelligence, perception, and communication.
Although, in retrospect, we're far from those types of advancements in both abilities fueled by pure artificial intelligence.
But in the film Lucy, you're giving a full-on display of this released; unconstrained mind power!
Even at the part, where Lucy is systematically surfing two laptops at once during the course of a 747 flight; her mind was just too damn elevated - [YouTube].
And it was too noticeable, because there was a passenger sitting across from her staring at the ways she was typing surfing on those PCs!
It got to a point, where one of the airplane stuartist, urged her to turn off her laptops—which she does, but not before finishing what she was searching for.
Lucy didn't need to make much of a fuss about it, because she made sure to give the stuartist something to think about. LOL.
Although, it really didn't matter, because she already processed all of the information she needed right then and there!

That part she was at hovering around 40 to 50% brain boost power.

Well that was until they introduced their AI platforms, then it was a serious change-up in the search results.

There are now tens of millions of AI-search platform users, and that number will continually climb!
AI-searches are super convenient, they give you what you want in a lickety-split second or less; so old school search engines are basically obsolete.
Now, there will be some older folks who continue using traditional search engines—but they will change their tune eventually when they see how much faster it is to use AI-search plateaus.
So, that plane PC search scene in Lucy, is basically pushing us toward the total reshaping of the online communication field.
And what that ultimately says, is that AI-driven integrity is being pushed within our economy.
That alone will lead to the transformation of other industries such as manufacturing and logistics.

If you saw someone doing two or three things that Lucy could do, would without a shadow of a doubt make that person a walking target!
Remember, Lucy was being pursued once she was identified, even though it didn't matter much at all.
Because she wasn't too far away from 100%, and the agent assigned to detain her, had a very hard time trying to get her to —"STOP RESISTING!"
Yeah, well now, that sounds familiar, but good luck if the cops think tasing her is going to be enough to bring her down!
Nah... That's not happening, because she'll probably absorb the electric charge like it's brain fuel! LOL.
So... How would Lucy fit in society from an observer's perspective?
Well, you have to start from the beginning, where she had too much fun partying the night away.
She met a friend as it would seem, one who got brutalized, and was taken right in front of her in broad daylight.
And then she's eventually taken away as well, and that's where complete chaos has been injected into her life in an instant!
She then meets a ruthless drug lord killer, whose only goal is to make as much money as possible at the expense of other people's lives.
But he picked the wrong one to mess with, he picked Lucy, and he couldn't foresee how she would be the one that would lead to his later undoing.
Now, seeing this from Lucy's perspective, she soon realized the world she inhabited before got flipped upside down on its head!
She now feels out of place, and those around her are starting to see her in a different light.
But, that's how it is for some people.
You'll have much of the population who want to adopt the standard norms, they don't have the desire to step outside-of-the-loop.
Because they know they won't be accepted by their friends, and even family members may look and feel about them differently.

No matter what talents you have, and others may think it's too taboo or strange—"you have to ignore them!

You just go out there and be YOURSELF!
Lucy's high cognitive mind wouldn't even allow her to feel unwanted by others who thought she was a freak of some sort.
No, she turned out to be a powerful force to be reckoned with, and that brought her much respect!

It would be wild.
If someone had AI leveling up powers that can elevate internal regions of the mind.
And yet, that was what's so similar about "Lucy."
She gained "AI-Psi like" superpowers, and she could sync with the internet because her mind was now unrestrained.
That type of untamed energy could crank machine learning up to eleven!
Let's not even get started on other factors thrown in, such as super-predictive analytics with near-instant brain-like expansion!
And as before, typing on a search engine would be a waste of time.
AIs can retrieve information way too fast now, plus the massive knowledge pool of information is all there!
Then there's the speed of responsive answers given back by AI; they fly back without much delay.
So, everything will be in store for a huge shake up...
And remember what was mentioned toward the start of the article...
It was talking about how AI would slowly, but likely overtake areas in medicine, security, and communication.
The concern however, would be someone having powers like Lucy, would no doubt abuse them to the core! LOL
So yeah, it can supercharge someone's mind, but it may also supercharge their evil intentions (if they have any).
That's the concern!
This was something Lucy surely thought about.
Although it does sound wild and admittingly creepy, but it’s where human-machine evolution could be headed in that direction.
Because Lucy broke through mental limitations on consciousness itself.

The movie Lucy was awesome and different, although what's shown in the movie is just an act.
The usage of theories and hypotheses was the only thing left after the movie comes to an end are rolling end credits. LOL

And it was good Lucy had the power, because say if someone like that Drug Lord Jang would have gotten a hold of that stuff... Yeah, not good!
As for human beings, there isn't a percentile, AI-Psi like, type of powers hidden away deep in your conscience.
